Azerbaijan, Baku, 11 April / Trend corr S. Babayeva/ Jan Masak, Universal Postal Union's (UPU) regional advisor for Europe and CIS, is expected to visit Baku, the Azerbaijani Communications & IT Ministry reported on 11 April.
The key purpose of his visit, which is scheduled for 14-18 April, is evaluation of the project on 'Development and Expansion of Postal Branch' implemented by the UPU within the framework of QSF (Quality of Service Fund). Studying of more rational and efficient ways of development and expansion of postal network is one of the project's key purposes.
During the visit, Masak will meet with the administration of State-run Azerpocht. And after the visit, he will submit a report to the UPU on the work of Azerbaijani postal system.
