Babayeva/ The nanotechnologies have become reality, they cover various scientific fields and they are investigated on an atom and molecular level, Nokolay Kudryatsev, rector of the Physical & Engineering Institute of Moscow and correspondent member of the Academy of Sciences of Russia said to Trend during the internet forum organized by Expert Online.
"Nanotechnologies are booming at present with reference to biology, microelectronics and other branches of science," the scientist said.
According to Kudryatsev, many achievements have been made so far thanks to the nanotechnologies.
"There are many researches conducted at present which will pave a way for many achievements in medicine such as new materials, new medicines and ways of injecting them to the cells," he said.
According to rector, the nanotechnologies will be improved by its authors because of big demand. "It is difficult to predict what new opportunities tomorrow may bring," Kudryatsev said.
Nanotechnology refers to a field of applied science and technology whose theme is the control of matter on the atomic and molecular scale, generally 100 nanometers or smaller, and the fabrication of devices or materials that lie within that size range.
