Azerbaijani Company Signs Contract to Export Computers to Moldova

Azerbaijan, Baku, 24 July / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / KUR Computers, producer of techniques and equipment for computers in Azerbaijan, has signed a contract with the Moldovan company Clara SRL to sale computers, Rizvan Osmanov, the chief of the KUR Computers said on 24 July.

According to Osmanov, the contract envisages to purchase about 1,000 computers by the Moldovan company. "Only 22 computers are expected to be sold in the first stage,' Osmanov said.

The company plans to sale its products to Georgia and some other countries in the future.

Company's capacity enables to produce 140 computers per day.

In 2007, KUR produced about 12,000 computers, 1,200 telephone units and 40 information booths. .

KUR has been functioning as a joint venture, 51% share in the company belongs to the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry, 36% - to the local company SINAM and 13% - to private persons.
