Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 August / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / Aztelekom joint venture attached to the Communication and IT Ministry of Azerbaijan has announced quotation polling to set up three electron automatic telephone exchanges with 288 numbers in the Imishli region.
Those intending in tender should submit proposals until 1 September. The proposals will be considered in the Imishli based telecommunication department.
Reconstruction of telephone network is implemented within the state Electron Azerbaijan program. So far, over 70% telephone units have been electronic.
Since early 2008, Communication Ministry has put into operation 33,562 telephone numbers.
According to the forecasts, the number of telephone units will reach 19.8 unites per each 100 people until 2011. Today, the number is 15 unites.
