President of Azercell Telecom Azerbaijani biggest mobile operator Ali Agan met with GSM-Association Head Raymond Сonvey in Barcelona as a part of GSMA World Congress, Azercell said.
During the meeting, head of Azercell informed Сonvey about Azerbaijani economic development and the government's strategy to turn the country into the regional technological center.
Сonvey touched upon the issue to expand cooperation between Azercell and GSM-Association.
GSM-Association comprises 219 countries and 750 companies. Azercell is the member of the organization since 1996.
