Communications services increase in Azerbaijan

In January-February, 123.2 million manat in communications services were rendered to organizations and the public, which is 1.8 percent more than during the same period in 2008, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported. Roughly 77.3 percent of the communications services were rendered to the population.

Sector growth has been observed in Guba-Khachmaz at 11.8 precent, Nagorno-Shirvan at 8.7 percent, Shaki-Zagatala at 9.1 percent, Lankaran at 9 percent, Absheron at 15.8 percent and Ganja-Gazakh at 6.8 percent.
