The Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology (IT) Ministry's revenues 9.8 percent in Jan-April compared to the same period in 2008, the ministry said on May 21.
The IT Ministry's total income was roughly 53 million manat.
In January-April, the IT Ministry's enterprises rendered services worth 22 million manat to population with a 7.5-percent increase compared to the same period in 2008.
In this period, revenues of Aztelekom PU totaled 25.8 million manat, Baktelekom PU- 10.4 million manat, Teleradio PU - 1.7 million manar and Azerpocht - 4 million manat.
In 2008, the governmental income from the Azerbaijani communication and IT field reached 195.2 million manat, while this figure was 158.2 million in 2007.
