In January-May 2009, roughly 382.3 million manat communications services offered to organizations and population, which is by 15.6 percent more of the same period of 2008, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee said.
Out of the total offered services 77.8 percent was made to the population.
Some 72.4 percent of the proceeds accounts to mobile services, where growth was 19.8 percent.
The growth of services in the economic area of Guba-Khachmaz was 8.3 percent, in Nagorno-Shirvan - 7.4 percent, Sheki-Zagatala - 3.8 percent, Aran - 7.3 percent in the economic area Lankaran - 7 percent, Absheron - 15.8 percent and Ganja-Kazakh - 4.1 percent.
