Income of the ICT sector and postal services in the Azerbaijani GDP increased from 1.3 percent to 2.2 percent and in non-oil sector from 4.3 percent to 4.6 percent in the first half of 2009, as compared to the same period of 2008, the Azerbaijani Communications and information technologies ministry said.
GDP amounted to 14.287.6 million manat in the first half of 2009. Real growth rate was 3.6 percent and 6.713.7 million manat in non-oil sector with the growth rate of 4.1 percent compared to the same period of 2008, the ministry said.
