The Russian TransTeleCom company and the Azerbaijani Delta Telecom are negotiating to provide transit capacities, which will ensure access to Middle Eastern countries, TransTeleCom said.
According to TransTeleCom, work to expand access in the international segment of the Internet of Delta Telecom company to 2.5 Gbit/s were completed on September 3. The project of interface junction on DWDM technology (Dense wavelength division multiplexing) at 10 Gbit/s is at final stage.
TransTeleCom and Delta Telecom cooperate for two years. TransTeleCom has launched to provide IP-Access services on the Russian-Azerbaijani border transition of Samur-Yalama in August 2008.
