The wireless access point Wi-Fi has been deployed in the Nakhchivan State University (NSU), Communications and Information Technologies Ministry told Trend .
The access points were deployed in places where students and staff members work more frequently with the scientific literature and use the Internet. The wireless network was established on the basis of the Cisco Systems equipments.
Students and staff of the NSU are able to connect to the Internet using any device equipped with Wi-Fi receiver, while being in the academic buildings.
The advantages of wireless broadband access are allocated for use in the creation of video telephony.
The deployment of wireless network was carried out by specialists of the Communications and Information Technologies Ministry of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic on the basis of the NATO grant program.
