The concept of cable television is indicated as the organization rendering services of TV and radio broadcasting in a certain territory.

At present, the rules include technical aspects. For example, in case of suspension of broadcasting by cable TV operator, the operator must renew it within two days after a subscriber appeal the operator.

After new regulations come into force, special terms will be laid down before operators. These terms envisage delivery of content to a consumer via alternative lines, in case of switching off signal.

If cases contradicting the Azerbaijani current legislation on Television and Radio Broadcasting are fixed, the council reserves the right to suspend activity of the operator.
