Opera Mini gains popularity among mobile Internet users in Azerbaijan, Nokia marketing manager in south of CIS Ruslan Beisov told Trend .
Beisov said that Azerbaijan joins CIS top 11 regions on the number of mobile browser users by ranking 9. The reprt on mobile Internet, created on the basis of Opera Mini statistics of browser use was officially published by Opera Software company.
Opera Software's report said that the number of browser users in Azerbaijan increased 928.2 percent but web-pages looked through by them - 928.2 percent. Each user loads 4 megabyte data per month on his/her mobile phone but the volume of web-page hits 7 kilobyte.
The total number of web-pages looked through via Opera Mini in 11 CIS top-regions has increased 133 percent for the last year but the number of browser users - 55 percent.
Beisov said that Nokia telephones are the most popular ones among Opera Mini users in Azerbaijan. The Internet resources, including mail.ru, odnoklassniki.ru, google.com, myleo.az, vkontakte.ru, my.opera.com, yandex.ru, livescore.com, facebook.com and rambler.ru join ten popular websites (in the decrease order).
