An Azerbaijani delegation will participate in the work of a spring session of the universal postal union, the Communication and IT Ministry told Trend .
The working groups of communication departments will organize meetings together with commissions and groups of postal operations within a session to be held in Bern from April 12-30.
Participants of the session will discuss urgent issues concerning postal communication. Plenary meetings are planned to be held. Conclusions on undertaken operations will be made.
During the congress of the universal postal union in 2008, Azerbaijan was elected a member to two supreme bodies of the union - administrative council and postal exploitation council.
Membership in leading bodies of the union gives the country in opportunity to impact on forming decisions connected with major issues of the organization's activity.
