Georgia ranks first as for providing expensive cellular services in the post-Soviet area, and the third place among 186 countries. The Georgian Young Financiers and Businessmen Association made this statement on the basis of studies INFORMA TELECOMS & MEDIA and WORLD DEVELOPMENT INDIKATORS DETABASE. "Georgian cellular rates are inadequately high, even compared to the countries where GDP per capita is higher several times," Association president Merab Janashvili said. Georgia lives behind some developed countries including the UK, the U.S., France, Japan and Canada.
