The processing center will provide an opportunity for Azericard cardholders of American Express to carry out transactions via the Internet, AzeriCard Business Development head Jahangir Mammadov told Trend.
Mammadov said that today the center is certified in the system of American Express.
The system will assure a high level of security of personal information, calculations and payments. Information system of American Express, responsible for the authorization and transfer of money, is certified via 3D Secure technology. Security of transmission of input information is guaranteed by using SSL and certificate Thawte.
American Express is the most demanded payment system on the Western market and is a leader in servicing of corporate clients.
Payments via American Express cards will greatly expand online-shopping and will promote further development of electronic commerce in Azerbaijan.
