Azerbaijan's transport ministry discusses connecting country to TAXONET system

Specialists of the Polish company producing securities, who are in Baku within the two-day visit, discuss with the Azerbaijani side the issues of manufacturing security cards, used for the introduction of digital tachographs in international road transport, said the Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan.

According to the ministry, also there are plans to discuss connecting Azerbaijan to the TAXONET system.
Azerbaijan joined the European Agreement concerning the work of crews of vehicles engaged in international road transport (AETR).

The main purpose of the Agreement is to ensure the security issues on the international road transport.

UNECE European Agreement concerning the Work of Crews of Vehicles Engaged in International Road Transport provides that the same rules regarding driving and holiday periods, and general measures for their control will be applied to all international transport operations conducted on the territory of the contracting parties.
