The European Commission will hold the continent's largest international conference on information and communication technologies (ICT) in Brussels from Sept. 27 to 29.
Over 4,000 politicians, businessmen, investors and scientists from around the world will meet at ICT 2010 to discuss Europe's strategy in the ICT sector.
In the run-up to the ICT conference, the EU has announced a contest on identifying and providing support to research teams interested in taking part in the ICT 2010.
The contest is open to ICT research team representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
One or several representatives from one team may apply. Applicants must register on the no later than July 31 (4:00 p.m. London time) and fill an online application in English at: www.eeca-ict.eu/index.php/ ict2010-call-for-applications.
