Azerbaijan, Baku, July 30 / Trend H. Valiyev /
The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry is working to expand e-map frequencies, Telecommunications Department Chief Adviser Gulam Abdullayev told Trend.
The State Radio Frequencies Administration is modernizing the digital map.
Abdullayev said the e-map is updated regularly. New buildings are included monthly.
The probability of receiving the e-map signal depends on location, urban density and terrain. The radio quality may deteriorate, break or interfere due to local conditions.
The e-map was developed by the administration with organizational support from IREX.
The software was developed by ATDI-France on the basis of GPS.
