The first base station of the fourth generation mobile communication was installed in Astana, Kazakh company Kcell representative Aida Dosaeva said.
"At present, Kazakhstan has rapid growth in mobile traffic. We have established the base station of the fourth generation LTE to meet the growing needs of Kazakhstan," Dosaeva said.
LTE is the technology of mobile communication of the fourth generation. The main difference and advantage over other existing mobile communication technology is greater bandwidth.
Such indicators of network bandwidth and data speed will allow a wide range of services, such as rapid exchange of large files, video surveillance.
