Microsoft Azerbaijan posted on the Internet a language pack for localization of the operating system (OS) Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft reported.
Microsoft Azerbaijan presents a special language pack - Language Interface Pack (LIP). The system installed at the website of Microsoft's local representative office - www.microsoft.az enables to define what operating system is used by the client - a pirated or licensed one.
Installation of this package on top of the operating system in the English language enables the users to work with Microsoft Windows 7 with Azerbaijani interface.
The localization project was initiated and sponsored by Microsoft. As a result of Windows 7 localization it was created Azerbaijan dictionary of commands and words used in the products of Microsoft (Glossary), localized the interface into Azerbaijani language (Language Interface Pack), and also created a list of words and expressions that are not recommended for use in localized products of Microsoft (Azeri Policheck). In the process of localization there were observed rules of the Azerbaijani language.
Microsoft has localized their main software products, including operating systems MS Windows XP, Vista, and Microsoft Office 2003/2007 into Azerbaijani language.
Microsoft-Azerbaijan is to present at exhibition Bakutel-2010 localized version of operating system Microsoft Windows 7 for Azerbaijan.
