The number of Opera mini-browser users in Azerbaijan has increased by 80 percent (from October 2009 to October 2010), Opera Software's mobile Internet report said today.
The report is based on Opera mini-browser user statistics.
According to statistics, 940 pages were viewed per user, with Web page requests increasing by 314.6 percent.
On average, each user in Azerbaijan downloads six megabytes of data per month to his mobile phone. But the volume of web-page hits 7 kilobyte.
Occupying ninth place, Azerbaijan still ranks among the top 11 countries in the CIS.
According to the report, Nokia phones remain the most popular brands among Opera mini-browser users in Azerbaijan.
The total number of Web page requests in the top 11 CIS countries grew by 84 percent in 2009. The most popular Internet resources are: vkontakte.ru, mail.ru, odnoklassniki.ru, ya.ru and google.com.
