Azerbaijan will take part in the debate over concept of creating express mail within the Regional Commonwealth of Communications (RCC), the Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry told Trend on Thursday.
The issue will be considered in the framework of the joint 32/21 meetings of the RCC Postal Commission and the RCC Postal Operators Board to be held in Kazakhstan from March 28 to April 1.
The Azerbaijani Communications and IT Ministry will represent the country at the event.
Prior to the meeting, there will be held the third international seminar for the RCC Communications Administrations in the framework of the strategic regional project UPU "Improving the quality of service."
The meetings will discuss preparations of the RCC Communications' Administrations to the 25th UPU Congress (Sept.24 -Oct. 15), issues of security of postal services and plans for RCC working bodies in the field of postal services for 2011-2012, as well as the application of preferential postal rates for library items in the system of interlibrary loan in the CIS countries.
