The Azerbaijani IT company Sinam plans to promote its own platform on cloud computing, Sinam President Elchin Aliyev said on Monday.
Aliyev said Software as a Service (SaaS) allows customers to get access to applications on remote servers on lease terms.
"All that is needed for enterprises to use the SaaS service is good communication, that is, the availability of broadband Internet access. Given the fact that today there are enough IP / MPLS-providers in Azerbaijan, it is obvious that SaaS service has a future. SaaS services are inexpensive. We plan to promote this on the Azerbaijani market," Aliyev said.
The advantage of SaaS is that customers do not acquire software, but pay for operation.
SaaS provides all-round access to applications where Internet access is available at low prices.
