The Azerbaijani Mobisky content provider and aggregator has tested the mobile contactless payment system for goods and services, CEO Jamal Karimov told Trend.
Karimov said the service will be put into trial after the installation of a number of additional software modules and the system will soon be available in sales and service facilities.
A new method of payment, which will be available to Azercell subscribers, allows goods and services to be bought from a subscriber's mobile accounts.
The project involves the installation of readers in shopping sites.
The system is currently operating in a pilot mode at Baku subway stations.
