The CATEL network's failure was eliminated by the Baku Telephone Communications PU, Azerbaijani Communications and IT Deputy Minister Iltimas Mammadov said.
Mammadov said the problem with mobile communications services in CDMA standards will be resolved within the week.
According to the CATEL information, the company's specialists are engaged in troubleshooting.
The cause of the problem was a hardware failure. The subscribers failed to phone and receive calls.
CATEL has faced the problems since April 1, leading to the shutdown of a network of subscribers operating in the CDMA standard (with index numbers 417, 418 and 415, as well as the number of mobile network Fonex, starting with the zoning code 040).
CATEL faced problems with the network on April 1.
The total number of CATEL users is 70,000, of which about 60,000 are CDMA user subscribers.
