Azerbaijan's market is ready for LTE technologies, Chief of Mobile Broadband Marketing Network Systems Nokia Siemens Networks Kai Sahala said on Tuesday.
Sahala said the market in Azerbaijan, as well as other countriesm can be divided into two segments -- corporate and private customers.
"Azerbaijan is ready for a transition to LTE if the services based on this technology will be provided directly to corporate users. I think the user base is ready for this," he said.
As for the mass development of LTE and a wider coverage, he said it will take time in Azerbaijan.
Operators, receiving profit from the enterprise segment, will have to take steps to further the coverage and bring services based on LTE technology to mass users.
