Number of Internet users increased by 26 percent in Georgia in 2010, and by late 2010 it exceeded the figure at 300,000 people, the Communications Commission's report says.
But despite this, the total volume of incomes from Internet in 2010 decreased by 14 million lari ($ 1 = 1.66 lari) compared to the previous year and amounted to 80.2 million.
As the report says, Silknet and Caucasus online once again remained leaders on the Georgian Internet market in 2010. These companies, in terms of income, own 80 percent of the market.
Some 90 percent of users accounts for Georgian cities.
