In January-September Azerbaijan imported over 102,869 mobile phones worth over $6.1 million, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Tuesday.
According to the report, import of mobile phones increased by 33.3 percent compared to the similar indicator of 2010, in money terms - by 24.3 percent.
The country's average monthly import hits 10,000 mobile phones. Monthly volume of the mobile phone market in money terms amounts to about 600,000-650,000 manat.
