Nearly 90% of tax declarations in Azerbaijan submitted electronically

Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan provides more than a half of its services in electronic form. This was said by First Deputy Minister of Taxes, Natig Amirov, at a press conference on Tuesday.

"Among all government agencies, we provide the largest number of e-services - 57 units. In 2012, the ministry received 88.5 million manat through e-services," Amirov said.

According to him, in November-December 2012, 859,000 legal entities with local capital registered online. Today, the country offers the possibility of registration of legal entities - limited liability companies with local capital, the weight of which is 85 percent of the total number of commercial entities.

In the future, online registration of joint ventures and enterprises with 100 percent foreign capital will also be possible in Azerbaijan.

"In 2012, the ministry started document circulation with six more banks, bringing the total to 37," Amirov said.

According to him, in 2012, the ministry received 1.248 million tax declarations, 89.9 percent of which were filed electronically.
