The work to develop an internet search engine in Azerbaijan as part of the Dilmanc project has been suspended, a source familiar with the project told Trend.
Prior to that, Dilmanc programmers developed a search crawler, which scanned web pages.
The search engine produced results in accordance with the data in the crawler database. Code of the search engine was not borrowed from third-party developers, but was the own development of Dilmanc.
Moreover, as part of the project, all users were to be offered the opportunity to create their own websites for free, which also had to be indexed in the search engine.
