Facebook users’ activity increased by 11 percent in Azerbaijan in January-August 2018, according to Global Stats center.
As of September 1, 2018, Facebook’s market share was almost 41 percent. By popularity, Facebook ranked first in the Azerbaijani social media market.
Facebook users’ activity in Azerbaijan decreased by 62.6 percent in January-August 2018.
As of September 1, 2018, YouTube's share in the Azerbaijani social media market amounted to 34.1 percent, which is 2.4 times more than as of September 1, 2017. By popularity, YouTube ranks second in the Azerbaijani social media market.
YouTube users’ activity in Azerbaijan decreased by 0.7 percent in January-August 2018.
As of September 1, 2018, by popularity, Pinterest social network ranks third for the first time with a market share of 9.4 percent. Pinterest users’ activity has increased by 8.1 percent in January-August 2018, which exceeds the same indicator of the last year by 84.5 percent.
Instagram with a market share of 6.44 percent ranks fourth, followed by Twitter social network – 5.27 percent, VKontakte – 1.95 percent, Tumblr – 0.67 percent and others.
