The main operator of Azerbaijan - the Delta Telecom company has placed cache servers of Facebook in its DATA center Content Delivery Network (CDN), the company told Trend.
The Facebook company has previously confirmed that the Delta Telecom DATA center is an ideal place to host CDN servers, and it is able to strengthen the delivery of social network content to neighboring countries-Georgia and Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.
The advantage of installing Facebook CDN servers in DATA center of the Delta Telecom company is that Facebook users in Azerbaijan and other countries of the region will get fast and high-quality access to the network's content.
Currently, the Google server platforms has also been installed in the company's DATA center, which provide high-quality access for Azerbaijani users to Google services, as the results are processed with greater speed.
The servers have high bandwidth, which will allow to fully cover the needs of the internal segment of AzNET, if the consumption of Internet traffic increases multiple times.
