In September 2018, the number of requests from Azerbaijani state agencies related to computer security increased by 39.1 percent compared to August and amounted to 302, the Computer Security Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Special Communication and Information Security State Agency of Special State Protection Service of Azerbaijan told Trend.
In September, 71.8 percent of the total number of requests received by CERT were reviewed and dealt with. On the basis of the audit of information security, eight reports were prepared by CERT and sent to the relevant structures.
According to CERT, nine domains and two sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani internet segment last month.
The total number of requests related to computer security amounted to 2,302 as of January-September 2018, which is 48.8 percent more than in the same period of 2017.
In January-September, 89.1 percent of the total number of requests were considered and dealt with.
During the reporting period, 109 reports were prepared and sent to the relevant structures on the basis of the completed audit of the information security.
In January-September, 28 domains and 20 subdomains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet, which are usually used by organizations to create unique site names for their departments or services.
