Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan (MITC) Shukhrat Sadikov met with the CEO of the Veon Group Kjell Morten Johnsen, the press service of the Uzbek ministry stated.
The parties noted successful experience of Beeline in the mobile communications market of Uzbekistan. The company constantly introduces new technologies, and also actively participates in the social life of the country.
The counterparts discussed further cooperation in introduction of modern telecommunication technologies and services, in particular, expansion of the 4G network.
Johnsen expressed his intention to further expand the investment program to provide modern telecommunications services, noting the high level of ICT development in Uzbekistan.
