The hotel television service of the OTT (over the top) technology operator of Azerbaijan – the RA Technologies (RATV) company is planned to be launched in hotels of Greece, the company told Trend Oct. 11.
The company said that currently, the project is at the negotiation stage and it is possible that this service will be launched by the end of the year.
The service provides connection to the TV channels that the clients wish to watch in their native language. A guest will be able to choose upon check-in the TV package that he/she wants to watch. The user account is tied to the hotel customer accounting system.
The code is automatically activated after registration. The payment for this service is included in the cost of the services used by the guest (telephone calls, mini-bar and so on).
The main feature of this service is that the users will be offered TV channels, which they used to watch in their homeland
