Uzbekistan's UZINFOCOM held a meeting with director general of the Russian group of companies HOST, Konstantin Suslov on Oct. 18, Uzbek media reported.
The Russian side presented the experience of creating information systems for state and commercial enterprises, for example, the MedVed (a bear) medical information system, which allows to determine the effectiveness of prevention programs through analytical processing of personal medical data.
Another project that was presented is the Smart City system that allows to anticipate problems, simulate countermeasures and optimally allocate resources (energy, water, financial, labor) analyzing large amounts of data.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on solutions for server virtualiziation, creation of applications and cloud environments to improve the performance of IT infrastructures, their management and reduce total costs.
They also discussed the implementation of the enterprise IT monitoring and management system, which allows to identify potential and current problems in the operation of equipment and software.
The parties discussed a number of possible test projects in Uzbekistan and agreed to approve a calendar of joint events.
