Malaysia may participate in development of smart cities in Uzbekistan

Malaysia is ready to help Uzbekistan in developing the concept of high technology zones and implementing it in the country, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia, Ravshan Usmanov, visited the special high-tech zone of the city of Cyberjaya and held talks with the executive director of Cyberview (Malaysia's premier tech hub) Najib Ibrahim.

"The prospects for creating smart cities in Uzbekistan and introducing advanced foreign experience in this area were discussed," said the message.

Following the meeting, the city administration invited the Uzbek representatives to visit Cyberjay.

Countries are considering the possibility of signing relevant documents with Uzbek partners in the area of ​​establishing cooperation.

Founded in 1996 and recognized as Silicon Valley of Malaysia, Cyberjay is also known as a testing ground and an experimental center for the development of highly intelligent products, including smart homes.
