Cyber Security Day event held in Ashgabat

An "Cyber Security Day" event was held in Ashgabat, organized by the local company Turkmen Tranzit and MUK International (Ukraine), Trend reports referring to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).

Representatives of state and private structures, local and foreign companies specializing in IT and IT-security, attended the meeting on cyber security issues.

These include Check Point Software Technologies Ltd (Israel), Symantec (USA), Penta Security Systems Inc. (Republic of Korea).

It was reported earlier that the UIET had put forward an initiative to create an IT-Cluster in line with the Concept of Development of Digital Economy for 2019-2025.

Turkmen Tranzit was established in 2010 and operates in the field of information technology and telecommunications, carries out complex deliveries of high-tech equipment from global manufacturers.

Professional implementation of security policies, building a multi-level system for protecting confidential data, introducing a reliable access control system - all these make it possible to maximize the effectiveness of the man-made component of the information protection system, the company’s website reads.

The company has certificates "Check Point Security Administrator R80", WAPPLES Basicot and cooperates with foreign partners.

The main activity of MUK International is the distribution of computer equipment, peripheral and network equipment, software, solutions for building infrastructure and related services.
