As of August 2019, the share of the Android mobile operating system (OS) in the Azerbaijani market amounted to 49.96 percent, having increased by 0.09 percentage points compared to the results of the previous month, Trend reports referring to Global Stats.
Microsoft's Windows operating system ranks second, with its market share having increased by 1.06 percentage points during the reported period and reached 35.14 percent.
Apple's iOS operating system ranks third, its market share having been increased by 0.37 percentage points over a month, to 7.16 percent.
The following operating systems are less popular in the country: unknown OS (3.29 percent), OS X Apple (2.73 percent), and Linux (0.96 percent).
