Azerbaijani Veyseloglu Group is launching a large-scale digital transformation project on the SAP S/4HANA platform, Trend reports with reference to SAP.
SAP S/4HANA is a next-generation, intelligent ERP business suite designed specifically for in-memory computing.
So, one of the leaders of the Azerbaijani trade and distribution market, within the framework of the new IT strategy, plans to transfer its production and business processes to the SAP S / 4HANA digital platform, including all assets: Araz and OBA supermarket chain, Ulduz chocolate factory, Veyseloglu distribution company, as well as grocery production.
The project is envisaged for implementation until 2025.
“The company is presently faced with the task of not only to maintaining leadership in the market, but also to make the necessary changes for the further development of business. The use of currently independent ERP systems in our companies slows down the process of making strategic decisions and reduces productivity. Therefore, we chose a digital platform that can effectively support the operational management of the business and its active growth,” said Natavan Ibrahimova, member of the board of the Veyseloglu group of companies.
Rufat Hajialibeyov, Managing Director of SAP Azerbaijan, in turn, stressed that the SAP S / 4HANA platform will allow the company to be confident in the reliability of all operating systems’ work, as well as quickly and efficiently scale the necessary processes, taking into account an actively growing business.
The SAP S / 4HANA is the digital core for business, which helps the company quickly respond to external challenges and allows working with large amounts of data in real time, reorganizing business models. The platform provides flexible options for adapting business processes and introducing innovative solutions based on machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Veyseloglu Group currently includes 12 companies, is one of the largest in Eastern Europe and employs over 14,000 people.
