The value of production of computers, electronic and optical devices, electrical equipment in Azerbaijan amounted to 123.4 million manat ($72.5 million) from January through July 2020, having dropped by 7.2 percent compared to the same period of 2019, Trend reports.
Reportedly, the production of computer, electronic and optical devices in the country grew by 42.8 percent year-on-year, while electrical equipment - by 5.1 percent.
At the same time, the production of automatic devices and apparatus for regulation and control increased 3.3 times, and of electric current wires designed for voltages up to 1,000 volts - 2.4 times.
In 2019, Azerbaijan produced computers, electronic and optical devices, as well as electric equipment worth 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million).
