The volume of revenues received by mobile communication operators in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from January through August 2020 amounted to 29.4 million manat ($17.3 million), Trend reports referring to Nakhchivan State Statistical Committee.
The revenues of the mobile communication sector increased by almost 1.6 percent from January through August 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, the committee said.
Meanwhile, the cost of information and communication services in real terms increased by 4.5 percent from January through August 2020 compared to the same period of 2019.
Information and communication services worth over 37.1 million manat ($21.8 million) were rendered to the population and organizations in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic from January through August 2020.
In 2019, information and communication services in the amount of 52.8 million manat ($31 million) were rendered to the population and organizations in Nakhchivan, which is 2.8 percent more compared to 2018.
