Computers, electronic, optical and electrical equipment worth 180.5 million manat ($106.2 million) were produced in Azerbaijan from January through October 2020, Trend reports citing a report of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
The production of computers, electronic and optical products increased by 50.1 percent while production of electrical equipment decreased by 2.4 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of last year.
The turnover of retail trade in computers, telecommunications equipment and printed materials totaled 248.6 million manat ($146.2 million) from January through October 2020.
The retail trade in computers, telecommunications equipment and printed materials increased by 0.2 percent from January through October 2020 compared to the same period of last year.
The volume of production of these products in Azerbaijan reached 276.8 million manat ($162.8 million) in 2019.
