The value of revenues from mobile communication and information services in Azerbaijan made up about 177.8 million manat ($104.6 million) in January 2021, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee.
According to the committee, in the reporting month, revenues from mobile communication services in the country decreased by 5.1 percent compared to the same month of 2020.
The revenues of the mobile communications sector made up 73.6 million manat (43.3 million), which is 41.4 percent of the total revenues of the telecommunications market.
Besides, in 2020, information and communication enterprises provided services worth over 2 million manat ($1.1 million).
In January 2020, the volume of revenues from mobile communications and information services in Azerbaijan totaled nearly 187.3 million manat ($110.2 million), of which 77.4 million manat ($45.5 million) fell on the mobile communications sector.
