The Innovation Agency under the Azerbaijani Ministry of Transport, Communications, and High Technologies has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Turkish Teknopark Istanbul company in order to open technoparks in Karabakh, Trend reports citing the Turkish media.
The memorandum contains clauses regulating the joint activities of the parties in the creation of high-tech parks, said the message.
The signed document on turning the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from Armenian occupation into high-tech centers provides for an increase in the level of technical awareness and training of young professional personnel, the Turkish media said.
According to General Director of Teknopark Istanbul, Bilal Topcu, within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to organize an exchange of experience in the field of high technologies, to provide support in the development and improvement of high-tech products in technoparks that will be created within the framework of the agreement.
The conclusion of such agreements will accelerate the transformation of Azerbaijan into a space of high technologies and innovations in the region.
