The work is underway to improve the activity of the Uzbek centers of public services based on the Azerbaijani model of the ASAN Service, ASAN Service told Trend on April 12.
During a meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Ulugbek Mukhammadiyev, chairman of ASAN Service Ulvi Mehdiyev informed him about the activity of the centers of ASAN Service.
"The creation of the ASAN Service in terms of increasing transparency and introducing the modern innovations has contributed to the successful and effective public administration,” Mehdiyev added. “To date, about 43 million citizens' applications have been registered in the centers of the ASAN Service.”
“Moreover, our service was awarded with the UN prize in the field of public services in 2015 while with a special prize of the world organization in the field of development of public services by using digital governance in 2019,” Mehdiyev said.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues of integrating the capabilities of the centers of ASAN service into the activity of the Public Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan as part of the implementation of a memorandum of understanding.
"It is planned to conduct training for employees of the Uzbek agency by experts of the ASAN Service in various spheres, provide Uzbekistan with Azerbaijan's experience in the field of startups, social innovations and digitalization," the message said.
Mukhammadiyev highly appreciated the work conducted by ASAN Service.
