The construction of "smart" cities and villages in Azerbaijan, in particular, in the country's liberated lands, is based on the world experience, Coordinator of the Innovation Agency Elman Karimli told Trend on April 22.
"The use of such technologies as virtual reality and mobile applications within the "smart" projects which are being implemented will contribute to the enlarged tourist flow to zones where they will be applied," Karimli said.
"It is planned to use alternative energy to protect the environment in the Karabakh region, which is primarily the safest for the environment, and will also provide for good results in the country and the region as a whole," the coordinator said.
Moreover, smart technologies in the field of agriculture will allow employees to monitor all production parameters from a single control center.
The centralized system of "smart" cities and villages is built on the basis of a concept where the main idea is to minimize costs and maximally draw the profit.
The application of this technology applies primarily to sectors such as education, production, transport and agriculture.
