Number of blocked 'intruders' in Azerbaijani AzStateNet network down

The number of blocked ‘intruders’ in the AzStateNet network amounted to 6,044 in April 2021, which is 3 percent less than in the previous month, Trend reports citing a report of the Computer Incident Response Team (CERT) under the State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Special State Protection Service of Azerbaijan.

The number of ‘intruders’ blocked (based on URLs) stood at 2,024, the centralized anti-virus system (CAS) - about 2,007, and the so-called sandbox (a specially isolated environment for the safe execution of computer programs) – 2,013, the report said.

In the first four months of this year, over 25,000 ‘intruders’ were blocked.

In 2020, the number of blocked ‘intruders’ based on URL addresses in the Azerbaijani AzStateNet network amounted to more than 27,852, the CAS - about 30,860, by sandbox - about 20,202.

In 2019, the number of blocked 'intruders' based on URL addresses in the AzStateNet network, amounted to over 40,000, the CAS - about 28,371, and the sandbox of CAS - about 700.
