Azerbaijan competes in the export of high-tech products with recognized global leaders in this area - the US, Israel, South Korea, and China, Farid Kazimov, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium (AZINNEX), told Trend.
According to Kazimov, there is very high competition in the field of innovations in the world.
"Countries like Azerbaijan, which have recently begun to export their high-tech products, have to compete with recognized world leaders - the US, Israel, South Korea, China. If we look at the CIS region, we will see that almost all countries that can present their innovations, in the shortest possible time, greatly facilitated the tax burden on high-tech companies," he said.
“This approach creates a competitive advantage for companies from these countries when participating in tenders. Therefore, in order to withstand this competition, Azerbaijan also needs to take balanced steps to support its export potential in the field of innovation,” the AZINNEX executive director noted.
The Azerbaijan Innovation Export Consortium was created to support the export of national high-tech products.
